Following the Romanesque Trails departing from Paray-le-Monial is a guarantee to visiting some 100 well-preserved Romanesque churches and chapels: ornate sculpted decor, harmony of the built proportions. At the heart of this exceptional Romanesque garden stand the architectural jewels of Anzy-le-Duc, Semur-en-Brionnais, Iguerande and Saint-Julien-de-Jonzy, to name just a few.

The extreme elegance of the northern portal is showcased by a decorative pattern inspired from Oriental art, while the southern portal features sculpted polychrome elements leading to the cloister.
