The Sacred Heart Basilica, a reduced-scale replica of the Cluny Abbey as built. The balance and harmony of its proportions are especially apparent in the layout of the apse, highlighting the underlying multilayered architecture. A sight to behold for any art history lover!
A dazzling testimonial to the genius of Cluny-period builders, the Paray basilica today honours the fervour exhibited by pilgrims who gather here from the world over.
